This has been asked before, but not recently. What are Virginia Tech’s best, most well-respected, and fastest growing programs? What majors might justify attendance from out-of-state? How does Virginia Tech compare to similar colleges? USNWR doesn’t seem to show the whole picture. Thank you in advance!
By far engineering majors are the most respected at tech, ranked 15th and better than a lot of ivy’s and top schools

VT’s School of Architecture is ranked 3rd in the nation in 2016 for undergrad architecture programs.

If im not mistaken the Natural resources and Forestry department was ranked number one in the nation recently, and for the fastest growing major i would have to say Neuroscience. By 2020 the Neuroscience department plans to hire 30+ faculty members
