Stuck between two schools, please help!!!

<p>I'm torn between Penn State and Bucknell. I like them both a lot and have visited them both at least three times.
I was offered the Presidential Fellowship to Bucknell (biggest scholarship and research opportunity with a mentor for all 4 years). At Bucknell, I know I'll have great, easy access to opportunities, a great liberal arts education, a great faculty and good school spirit. I don't like the huge Greek presence and how it is essentially in the middle of nowhere.
But, I love the whole experience of Penn State- with football, THON, etc. I didn't get into Schreyer Honor College but I could get in after my first year, which would also be motivation to not slip freshman year. Everybody at Penn State seems to love it so much and Happy Valley is a great location, and my brother goes there. However, I dislike the party school reputation that Penn State has, how many people that I already know that go there, and how it's so big it might be hard to get opportunities and classes you want.
Also, both schools essentially cost the same. They both have a dance minor that I want. And, I am going in undecided and they're both good for figuring out what I want.
Any advice for a helpless, indecisive student????</p>

<p>As an undecided student, be aware that Penn State has some majors with limited enrollment, so you would have to apply into a competitive admission process to declare such a major.</p>

<p>[Administrative</a> Enrollment Controls](<a href=“http://dus.psu.edu/handbook/controls.html]Administrative”>http://dus.psu.edu/handbook/controls.html)</p>

<p>So if you might want to major in one of the majors with limited space relative to demand, consider that carefully.</p>

<p>It is not entirely obvious from the web site whether this is the case for Bucknell. If it is a concern for you, ask them directly.</p>

<p>You may want to go through the major lists and course catalogs to see if one school has majors and courses that you may be interested in that are absent at the other school.</p>

<p>Id probably go with Bucknell. Great opportunity, and they will definitely help you get employed after.</p>

<p>Given the parameters you outlinrd, there should be no debate, Bucknell is far and away a better choice.</p>
