Stuck with majoring..

Hey all,

So I’m gonna cut to the point, I was graduated from highschool 2 years ago, I quite hated math through my whole public education stages… I went into university and studied one preparatory year which had “biology, stat, physics and calc 1” I now have to choose what to pick, I find myself fund by technology, but I never know about the maths included, I chose the computing and IT faculty but idk which track to choose IT or IS or CS… Seriously… I quit didnt find math that hard at university and passed calculus 1 with a 100 degrees… But never know…

IT/IS and CS are very different. Information systems and/or technology focuses primarily on the technology of computing, and the organization of that technology. Computer science is essentially math and problem-solving through the use of computers and programming languages (which is why, at many universities, computer science is part of the engineering department). If you’re into math, algorithms, etc. and you’re good a math, then CS may be the better option for you.
