Hi!
I am a rising senior considering applying SCEA to Yale, and one of the main things that has drawn me to Yale has been the large student activist presence and the support system the school has in place for FGLI students like myself. Recently, I have been reading through stories on the Instagram account blackivystories, and I was wondering if any current students/parents have any insight on how the school has responded to the outcry from underrepresented minority students and is working on better supporting them. I was also wondering if anyone had any personal insight into what it is like being involved in activism at Yale, as well as what the student culture is like for minority/low-income students in general.
Thank you!
