Student Loans/Fin Aid Help!?

I am going to the University of Toledo and the total costs they used for Financial Aid was $23152.00 which includes room and board with the meal plan, tuition, general fees, transportation, miscellanous and books/supplies. That is every year

I received an EFC score of 0 ( mother single parent not making alot of money ) so I got
Pell Grant $5500
Tuition/General Fee Scholarship of $2512
Ohio Opp Grant of $888
Fed Supp Grant of $600

and then they put the federal Sub Stafford for $3500 and the Unsub Stafford for $2000.00, all of that is for a year in college and they also have $7702 for Parent Plus but my mother cannot get that at all.

What I am trying to figure out is since I believe $5500 is the max I can get from Federal Loans where else can I get loans for room and board as well as a little bit extra for expenses? Without much or any credit?

I am going to need about $7700 atleast in loans every year for college but where should I get them since I already will have the federal loans used?

If your mother applies for a PLUS loan and is turned down then you will be eligible for and additional $4,000 in unsub Stafford loans. But she must apply and she must be denied.

For private loans you would need a cosigner with a good credit rating as it is unlikely you would qualify on your own. Being a cosigner is a huge deal and puts the cosigners assets and credit rating at risk so generally only very close family, such as a parent, might be willing to cosign (I personally would take a loan in my own name, if it were an amount I was comfortable with, rather than cosigning a loan for anyone).

What about a perkins?
