this is going to sound ridiculous, but do we get any kind of price difference in the store as students? just checking, here in england thats not the case.

no, not generally

for the clothing stuff, we get 10% off

There was(?)/is(?) a sale on a Macbook. When I bought one, it retailed for about 1299, but the student store gave it to students for 999

10% off fast track (the non-UCLA clothing near the main entrance)

meh, laptops and electronic stuff @ UCLA isn't discounted much at all. I'd check out Boston University's comp store (no tax, but you have to pay shipping), but you're still saving a little bit.

Unless you are buying a Macbook!

Don't scold me if the sale is off already!

you'll get a discount if you're working for ASUCLA - 20% most items, and then once a quarter, employee discount week 33% off most items :)

ebay :) <3

I saw cheap UCLA apparel at costco a while back.

Yes, students get occasional discounts. I remember benefitting last year from our football team's wins. For every touchdown they win the ticket holder can qualify for 5% discount. I may be off with my numbers, but there was one time I received a discount for showing proof I was at the game when they won.

Our team didn't score a lot of TDs last year, so there wasn't much of a discount. But we have a new offensive coordinator this year, may we get 25% off every week!

Speaking of sales, there's a sale of UCLA Final Four stuff at Ackerman right now (50% off). I got a UCLA beer mug and UCLA Final Four shirt for $11 total!
