Students Admitted to Ivy Leauge Schools from my high school

My guess would be because their main motivation in applying was to attend a prestigious school. As they shot off applications to schools the size of large publics and small LACs, located in the largest cities and the most remote villages, adcoms realized they were trophy hunting for the name “Ivy”. Not what the adcoms are looking for. They try to find kids that have a strong idea of what they’re looking for and can explain to interviewers and in essays why the school is right for them and what they bring to the table to help the adcoms build a strong class that can learn from and help each other.

In your previous post http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/1820962-will-my-freshman-schedule-decreases-my-chances-of-getting-into-harvard-or-yale-thank-you.html it appears that 2 very different schools, Harvard and Yale, are indistinguishable in your eyes.
