Hello, I just want people’s opinions on studying abroad at University College London (specially those who study or have studied there). I am a student at a US college with concerns mainly regarding budget and some miscellaneous things. As of now I am already accepted and enrolled at UCL for the fall semester, but would be willing to withdrawn if necessary. I would appreciate if anyone can provide insight into any one of the following concerns:
- About how much where your living expenses (it would be helpful if you could state how much you went out, partied, etc)
- How good is the food provided by UCL meal plan? is it "all you can eat", and if not, are you satisfied with the amount served? I ask this because I tend to eat a lot.
- How much did you get to travel (both within England and Europe)? How much did you spend on traveling?
- What is a typical weekend like?
I guess that overall, I would just like to hear people’s sentiments on the UCL study abroad experience. The thing is that I have really enjoyed my experience at my US college so far, and I am not sure if studying abroad at UCL would be worth it, specially considering the high cost of living.
