<p>Many AU students study abroad sometime in their junior year. My daughter is exploring her options. Just wondering if any parents here had a student that studied abroad, where they studied and what their experience was like.</p>
<p>My D just left for Prague today! Most of her friends have done at least one semester abroad and have loved it. There are so many international opportunity - with every major.This semester, she has two friends (one business major, one communications major) in Rome and another (IR major) in St. Petersburg, Russia. Others have gone to London (for theater). D is a musical theater/history major and is getting full credit for history classes taken in Prague towards her major. She has also traveled to St. Petersburg with the theater dept. AU definitely has an international focus.</p>
<p>Also: She also has a friend who went somewhere in Africa to study theater, of all things. You can really design your own study abroad experience.</p>
