Studying artificial intelligence/extraterresrial life

Ok so here is the deal. I consider myself a futurist and I am wildly passionate about these two specific fields. The problem is i don't know how i can pursue these fields when I go to college. Any specific subjects required? What major should i consider doing in college? Thanks in Advance!

I am an IB junior doing Math, Econ, Physics HL and Psych, Eng LL, French B SL

Regarding Artificial Intelligence (AI) you should consider Computer Science with a minor in either Cognitive Science or Neuroscience. If you are more interested in extraterrestrial life, you might consider some combination of biology and astronomy, heading toward a path of astrobiology. In your first couple years of college you should try to take courses in computer science, biology, and astronomy and this will help you decide which route to pursue.

For AI, will a double major of psychology and computer science work?

Also I don’t like biology in general :/

Just do computer science and take electives in artificial intelligence. Don’t overthink it by trying to double major.
