Studying for SAT

Is it reasonable to do just one timed section at a time of the practice SAT test from my prep book rather than doing the entire test at once?

Yes but you should try to do 2-3 sections at a time

Yes, it is. If you only have an hour to prep in a particular day it makes a lot of sense to do one practice session and then 25-30 minutes reviewing the section. On the other hand it makes no sense to do the section and not complete an in-depth review (either that day or soon after).

you should do 1 grammer section 1 critical reading 1 maths section and 1 essay daily and these are enough

^ Well that depends. It depends on your score level, how many points you want to go up, how much time you have to do so, and how you use that time. Generally, i think 2 sections a day +vocab (if your having vocab trouble, otherwise do another section) is fine. Make sure you review the sections though.
