Studying for this exam...

Hey guys and gals,

So I’m having a bit of trouble figuring out how to study for this exam. I can’t use my typical routine since the class is taught differently. Here is the format of the class:
-Instructor does not lecture (no powerpoint, etc.).
-3 Students are assigned a chapter each week. They read the chapter, and teach the class. The instructor doesn’t write notes on what the students are saying.
-After 4 chapters, we take an exam.

Here is what I’ve done so far:

  • Read and outlined the chapters.
  • Reread the chapters (exam is tomorrow, I started reading on Friday and finished today).

I haven’t really read my outline, but doing so won’t be much help since it’s pretty much the chapter, rewritten.

What more should I do?

You say that students teach the class each week. So someone is going through the material, deciding what’s important, and presenting it.

At this point, you really should not need a power point to help you decipher what’s important. Listen to what’s being said, paraphrase it, and write it down.
