This year I am taking honors physics. I am also thinking to take sat 2 physics as well. Will it be a good idea? Any recomendation?

bump??

My Honors Physics class covered about 60% of all the necessary material. I did get a 730 with that gigantic knowledge gap though.

My honors class was entirely kinematics, so I had to learn about 70% of the test. Still got a 730, but it wasn’t fun. That being said, I <3 PR.

My S took Honors Physics (PSSC) and got a 770 on the SAT II. Most of the class consisted of Seniors who left to complete their Senior projects, so he missed about 5 weeks of class, including a section that was on the SAT II subject test.

It depends what’s taught in the class, I’m currently having to self-study about 50% percent of the material due to my Physics class primarily being about mechanics and waves.

So if you can look at the collegeboard website to see what’s on the test and compare to the units/topics you’ll be going over in class.
