Stupid Barrons Math Question

You can get the answer quickly simply by plugging in, but i would like to see how this would be solved algebraically.

a=b^2c , where a doesnt equal 0 and b doesnt equal 0. , then b/c = ??

A. a/c
b. a/b
c. a/bc
d. a/b^2c
e. a/bc^2

You know the answer is a divided by something, so:

a=b^2c

a/c = b^2

a/(bc) = b

a/(bc^2) = b/c

You're right, not a well-designed question.

Oh. Well, i didn't see it that way. Thanks for the clear explanation.
