So I sent an email asking a question to a college and it had two typos in it (mixed up the order of 2 words and wrote “sent” not “send”. The college already replied. There were no typos on my actual app - will this matter at all?
I know this is kind of petty, but could it leave a bad impression or affect my application at all?
Colleges ignore small typos on applications - notice the dozens of questions that have been asked on this subject this week alone. They will certainly not penalize you for a typo in an email inquiry.
I’m not really following your question. So is it like, you sent a college essay to the officer over the email? Or does the college know that you are… you (able to identify you)? Or are you just worrying over sending an email with typos to the college?
it’s an email, really wouldn’t worry
@skieurope - thanks for your straightforward answer. @dota2fan and @marvin100, thanks as well.
@HardOREasy the third, but I think everyone else answered my question as well.
Thanks all!
