I'm currently in the process of applying to graduate school (PhD Biology). I took the biology subject GRE earlier this year (with no preparation) and I scored 680, 57% percentile. I was wondering if this score is even worth reporting to schools?

I would say no.

I have similar scores too and have the same question- whether to submit or not.

I got an 85% overall and was very much on the fence about submitting. I ended up doing so, and am still unsure if it was a good idea. I don’t think it should hurt me much, but who knows. I’m hoping they look at the sub-scores, which are indeed sent out. 96% in cell/molecular and a much lower score for the Eco/evo section.

I wouldn’t send 57% (No offense intended. Not bad for not preparing). If it were 57% on the biochem test, and you were applying to biology programs, maybe it would look slightly better, as that test is (generally considered) more difficult.
