If I take three subject tests in one day, and I get a bad score on one of them, is it true that I can't not report that score? I must report all three to colleges because they were all taken on one day?

Unless the college to which you’re applying requires that you report all SAT Subject Test scores you can selectively report any of the Subject Test scores in your account – regardless whether you took the associated tests on same date or on different dates.

Suppose:

Jan 2013: Math 2=700, French=720, Physics=570
May 2013: Physics=740, French=680

You can report: (Jan French) + (May Physics)

Thank you!

Your question is really representative of a common confusion created by the mechanics of the testing agency. If you take all three tests the same day AND you designate colleges in your test application to automatically receive scores upon release, then upon release all those colleges will receive all three tests. For those free sends you cannot send just one or two of the tests. Moreover, if you take the tests and decide to cancel the test by the Wednesday after the test date which wipes out any possible scores, you can only cancel all three of the tests not just one or two of them.

If you wait to order scores sent to colleges after the scores come out (which costs an additional fee), you can then choose to send whichever you want but need to send all if the particular college requires you to.
