submatric into wharton MBA

Just found out that the submatric into MBA option is just available to people in wharton. What a load of BS. One university my ass.

honestly i don’t know why anyone would want to go into mba directly from undergrad, let alone submatriculate

so it really shouldn’t be a huge deal to you

…and it usually ranges from 0 to 1 person doing it each year. seriously not a big deal.

well a submatriculation wouldn’t really make sense from engineering…

Besides, it’s better to wait 2 or 3 years before getting an MBA anyways

Not if you’re trying to reduce time cost of living abroad.

For international students it might be a huge advantage to get an MBA in 4 or 5 years and go home to waive around the Wharton MBA. However, it’s really competitive to get because they compare you to normal MBA candidates (people with 2-10 years of work experience). You’d have to have the best internships in your class and other really compelling factors.

One benefit you get by being a math major in the college is that you could start a Wharton PhD curriculum senior year and get accepted into that after graduation.
