<p>Why not? Go for it - that's a passion (and a talent) that sets you apart. If colleges themselves encourage supplemental submissions of literature, turn in your poem(s) there. If not, put it straight in your Common App.</p>
<p>i would say go for it so long as the poem is 100% appropriate. it should go nicely with ur app. since u stated that you are a published poet. it would definitely be great to put in if you were going for some type of creative writing or related degree.</p>
