I have submitted my application with it telling me im missing an english requirement. I know i’m not missing any english requirements and called the help line and the person told me to explain in the extra box that I was not missing any. I did have apex courses but had two and was only one thing was missing. I don’t know what it was telling me I was missing and submitted anyways. Is this going to affect me?
Did you input English courses all 4 years on the UC application which would include your in-progress Senior English class? Did you get the dates right and not duplicate any dates?
You can go back into your UC application to see if you can add additional comments but UCB does not allow for updates on your academic history if there is something inputted wrong.
From the UC website:
- Berkeley will not accept post-submission updates. Any updates that are sent will not be considered in the application reading process.
Usually the UC application will not allow you submit if you have any a-g course requirements missing so double check the application again.
I’ve gone over it with my counselor and nothing was imputed incorrect. I did retake two semesters of english but that was also imputed. There is four years and they all match up to meet my A-G requirements. I have now contacted all campuses that I have applied to and am awaiting responses. It allowed me to submit by clicking “I confirm that I don’t have the courses that satisfy the English requirement.” it was the deadline and I didnt know what to do but submit.
