submitting scientific research

I know Harvard accepts samples of scientific research for evaluation, but do they accept abstracts alone? I've emailed them and I've never gotten a response from the Admissions Office.

An Abstract to a published research project that has your name associated with it – especially something that is available on-line – would be a definite plus. However an Abstract, being a summary, cannot be reviewed by the Admissions Committee or a specific department, so it will be of limited value.

Applicants in the past had submitted a full manuscript and Adcom then asked the faculty in the relevant field to evaluate it. If you believe your resarch and writing would help you, you should go ahead and send in a full length paper.
