I am currently a freshmen at Georgia State University and I have been wanting to transfer since before school even started. I just ended my first semester at GSU and I have a 4.0 GPA. My top choice as a senior in HS was UGA but I got waitlisted and then rejected. Due to an upward trend and feeling much more motivated, I need some university suggestions for transferring to.
I am still applying to University of Georgia as a transfer and I think I have a good shot at getting in, but I also want more options just in case I don't get in. Although, getting into UGA would be great because I am a Georgia resident, so I get the HOPE scholarship which covers 90% of tuition. I know colleges are notorious for not giving transfer students aid but, right now I just want to see where I can get in and explore my options. Also, the college you suggest needs to accept sophomore transfers!

My stats:
Current college GPA: 4.0
HS GPA: 3.34 UW, 3.8 W
SAT: 1820 (1190 M+CR)
ACT: 27
11 AP classes
Tons of ECs
First generation and Asian (idk if this matters)

Also, I'm majoring in philosophy and minoring in psychology!

Thanks!
