hey everyone. should i sign up for a suite or corridor style dorm? please only respond if you have lived in both a suite and a corridor dorm at Drexel. things to consider: ease of meeting people, ease of meeting girls (im a guy), how it affects studies, functionality, overal fun, etc.

thank you! :)

can I be a rule-breaker and throw my two cents in despite the fact that I’m only a potential drexel undergrad?

from what I’ve heard, suites are great but make it harder to meet people, and corridor style living makes meeting people on your floor more essential!

I only lived in suite-style at Drexel, but our floor/hall was VERY social. It was great because I could study in the common room at night after my roommates went to bed. As an upperclassman, the suite-style housing is less social. As a freshman, it’s just as social as the traditional dorms (if not more…since everyone from other dorms wants to come hang out in the suites).
