Tom Brady is right! PROMYS costs $3,600 (2015) for a residential program.

For Stony Brook, ADD Simons Summer Research - not only Free but you get a stipend if accepted. (highly competitive) Also, Stony Brook Greene Team - which is a Free one-week journalism program - but only for Long Islanders. Again, competitive. My daughter attended and really got a lot out of it. There’s also PAN - Phyisics of Atomic Nuclei one-week program at Michigan State and Notre Dame. Again, free if you get in - but competitive.
