I am really interested in getting an intern in financial industry. What kind of experience are they expecting for an engineering undergrad? Since I virtually have no related exp or even extracurricular with finance, will that be a disadvantage? Beside self-learning all the finance/accounting, what else do you guys suggest to be competitive applicant? Can anyone with these kinds of internships offer some advice? Thanks a ton

Get an interview, make your interviewers happy and you are gold.
The skills can be learned on the job. Unless you are looking for a position in IT, then you will probably need to brush up programming.
