Does anybody know any good summer business programs except for LEAD?
I am into finance but any other type of business program will do.

I don’t have my notes in front of me but some off the top of my head are “Foundation For Economic Leaders” and a program at Washburn University are some in business that I think of. Another one that is free is at University of Texas. There is one at the Kelly School of Business too.
I found the last two within 3 minutes doing a search for “summer programs in business for high school students” on google. Have you searched the internet? I would start also with a search on the internet. Another search term could be “pre-college programs in business for high school students.”

Another place to look is at other high school’s counseling department.[La Salle College High School: Pre-College Summer Programs](<a href=“Summer Programs | La Salle College High School”>Summer Programs | La Salle College High School) Here is one such listing.

Good Luck.

Thank you. I did search the internet but I didn’t find anything that great.

Endevvr is a high school start-up incubator that teaches you business strategies and finances and allows you to apply them to your own company that you create there. Best experience of my life.

Launch - entrepreneurship summer program held at MIT that helps you start a company

Any other programs?

Similar to launch but more locations: www.bpsummerprograms.com/academics

I don’t know where you live, but many states offer programs similar to Pennsyvlania Free Enterprise Week (PA Youth Leadership Programs - Foundation for Free Enterprise Education) which I did after my sophomore year. It groups students into management teams and has them compete in financial and marketing challenges, with one big winner at the end of the week.
Also there is the Pennsylvania School for Global Entrepreneurship ([Iacocca Institute](http://www.iacocca-lehigh.org/Iacocca/psge/)) which I personally never did but it looks like an amazing opportunity, if you are willing to spend 6 weeks of your summer in a governor’s school style setting. I think this one is open to students all over the world, not just Pennsylvanians.
However, I HIGHLY recommend Economics for Leaders, mentioned by itsv (Foundation for Teaching Economics). I went last summer, and it truly was one of the best weeks of my life. In the mornings, there are economics lectures, and in the afternoons, there are leadership activities. Only about 40 students attend at each location, and at College of Wooster last summer, we all became a big family. I still keep in touch with many of those in attendance, and it was a very valuable learning experience being surrounded by some of the nation’s brightest high school juniors. (as early decision applicants are receiving news, I know that some of my friends from EFL are accepted to their dream schools, including Brown, University of Richmond, University of South Florida, etc.)
Best of luck!
