Summer Course Listed as Year Long on Application

I noticed recently that in the 11th grade coursework portion on my application, I accidently listed Economics and U.S. Government as year-long courses of two semesters while they were summer courses I took during the summer after 11th grade. The mix up must have been when entering the course because they were summer courses and not classes taken during the regular year. The grades should read U.S. Government: A and Economics: A (Not AA and AA).

I sent them an email to newbruins@saonet.ucla.edu already and was wondering if any problems could occur with my admission?

I doubt it.

But if you're anxious, call the admissions office, or the office of the department you applied to. The mechanical engineering department was very helpful to me when I called about dropping Spanish III.

They had me send the situation to datachng@saonet.ucla.edu and the advisor couldn't promise that there would be no problems since she didn't have the application in front of her. Anyone in the know see potential problems from this?

i think the courses takein the summer of 11th grade are supposed to be considered 12th grade courses.

Course(s) taken during the summer session before the 12th grade should be placed (in the appropriate subject area) in the 11th grade, using the spring term column to list the grade(s).

i don't think there is a problem then

anyone know for sure?

Hey 4pointer...

I accidentally listed one of my band classes as a year-long class too (it's just 1 semester) and called the admissions office about it. They said not to worry b/c I already fulfilled one of the "A-G" course requirements. So as long as your Gov class doesn't mess up with your requirements, don't worry about it :)

But it wouldn't hurt to call them either

i mistakenly listed it as 2 semesters though, with grades of A and A. While each course was only one A.

Haven't heard back yet, bump for anyone who's done something like this or in the know???
