Hello!
UCF should begin reviewing applications tomorrow, so I figured if you get your decision and don't mind sharing, you can post it here along with term and stats so others can get a feel for their chances. I'm waiting on a decision for Fall 2013, but unfortunately UCF hasn't received my transcript yet, so it might be a while...
Good luck!

Good luck everyone! Which term is everyone applying for? I chose Summer 2013.

Summer 2013!!

I was accepted for fall 2013 yesterday!

I applied for fall 2013 as well! Just waiting on transcripts to be received in the mail, they were sent on Wednesday. Anybody know roughly how long they take to process the transcripts?

Aharmel, how did you get accepted if they start processing applications today?/if you seriously did what are your stats?

I sent mine in all the way from Japan on Tuesday the 4th and they were received yesterday. They would’ve taken at least a week to arrive, so tops it took 5 days, but probably less.

I’m so worried about getting in. Good luck you guys!

I was accepted for fall also yesterday sept. 15…I still need to tour campus…going in October…Is there anything I should specifically ask or see???

@mrcamisado They actually started reviewing sept 1. I’m not sure why they revised the date but it could be they revise batches at a time and redo the date every time.
Also I have a 1960 SAT (620 reading, 670 math, 650 writing), a 4.25 weighted gpa, Ive passed 7 AP exams with either a 4 or 5 and I’ve been varsity captain of soccer since my freshmen year, along with other extracurriculars like NHS and Varsity Softball.
^ sorry if that seems like bragging just trying to put the important stuff in there.

2013cheer: When I toured we couldn’t see the dorms, but if you can I think that’d be pretty important. Whatever your major is, I’d ask to see those buildings. Just take your time and soak in the campus-- try and see if you can actually see yourself there.
Congratulations aharmel1!

@Aharmel, wow awesome job! And congrats to you 2013cheer and tniemann.

ahhhhh my high school transcript was mailed electronically 9/12. Does anybody living in-state know how long transcript processing has taken them? aha i’m literally checking myucf like 3-4 times a day. so obsessed and nervous

Congrats cheer and aharmel,

Mrcamissdo, I’m in the exact position you are.

ahh well lets hope for the best, dawaffle. Let me know if/when you hear back on anything

Will do. They’ve received neither my HS nor my DE transcripts.

Oh you’re DE too? When did you submit both of the transcripts?

My son was accepted to UCF on the 15th. We received an email advising that his status has changed on MyUCF. It has a message congratulating him, but wants us to hit an accept or decline button. We don’t want to hit accpet until we have more details but it seems he needs to accept to get to the next screen which explains the deposit process. If he hits the accept button, what happens & do I have to pay the $200 tuition deposit at that moment ?

Also does anyone know when housing opens for fall 2013?

Thank you!

What dates did you all apply? I submitted mine on August 9th but I haven’t heard anything.
I have a 1370 UCF SAT, (670R, 680W, 700 M), 30 ACT, over 4.1 UCF GPA (not sure exactly, I don’t want to recalculate it all right now…).
There was a problem getting my PID, so I’m worried there is a problem with this, too. I applied really early.

@ tniemann, I’m on the same boat as you. I submitted my application on August 20th, and I still haven’t heard anything either.
Did you send in your AP exam scores too? Because I didn’t realize that you had to send them in until about two weeks ago. I submitted them as soon as I realized it so all I can do now is wait…

Yeah! Everything has been submitted now, and I read somewhere that they look through your application even if they haven’t received everything (transcripts, test scores, etc.). Everything has been in for about a week and a half except the transcript, which just got there a few days ago. If the above is true, that’s annoying. If it isn’t, I’ll wait for a while before freaking out, haha.

Transcripts, SAT scores and my son’s App were all received by UCF before August 26th. Our counselor told us it usually takes 2-4 weeks from the time they receive everything. So you should hear soon!
