I have a condition called Tourette Syndrome. It causes uncontrollable, physical “tics”. This condition also contributes to very poor hand writing, math skills, and often children with the condition struggle with a foreign language. I was exempt in 7th grade and have the “issues” listed above. Socially and mentally, the condition has not had an effect on me.

RV, as long as you have this condition mentioned somewhere, I think you should be okay. But they may ask you to send in necessary documentation to prove that this is, indeed, a true statement. If anything, they’d send that documentation to Student Disability services, and have them check over the documentation, but when it comes to those things, SD approves of it, first. I don’t think you have to worry, though. I’m with UCF student disability services for my Dyscalculia, and they’re very helpful and fair with everything. Just know that if they ask you for documentation, at some point, it’s not because they don’t believe you, it’s just protocall. Good luck, and if you have questions, message me:)

^^^ Hello Caitlin!

I got my acceptance letter today! :D

Congrats to all.

I still need to retake my ACT And SAT to stand a chance >.<

Did anyone else get a call from UCF asking if you have any questions about student life? Cause I did. I’m not even accepted yet.

I got a call from FSU last week regarding any questions I might have.

Did you apply to FSU? I know it’s wishful thinking but I honestly thought they accepted me and just didn’t update my account yet!

I started the application but haven’t finished it yet. I will finish and submit it by Saturday. Their deadline is Oct 15th. I got into UCF today and want to go there, but my mom wants me to go to FSU or UF…Who knows!!!

Did anyone get accepted for summer yet?

Hey guys! this is my first time too using the forums and i wondering, do you know how long it usually takes to hear an admission decisions from UCF?
I sent and they have received all my transcripts and scores, and its been a little over 2 months and i haven’t heard anything, does it usually take this long?

oops i meant to say almost 2 months

@anon723 Yes! I have :D

@Kenneth295

When did you send out your application? And when did you hear back?

@anon723… I got in yesterday for summer 2013

@ Joy, there’s no way to tell. They do rolling admissions, so it can take from a few days to a few months. I would just call from time to time and see if there are any updates. Some even get wait listed after waiting for a long period of time.

Good luck everyone!

Congrats Success, I’ll see you on campus!!!

@ Mizzxvii, Thanks
I hope it doesnt take too much longer :)

@ joy…I’m in the same boat as you :

lets hope they send out some acceptances today :-)

Well, it’s been a little over a month and I haven’t heard anything. I’m gonna stop worrying though because I got accepted to LSU and Auburn so UCF is kinda out of the question now.
