Summer Film programs for a High School graduate but someone who isn't in college?

Hi, I'm brand new to this site.
I'm looking for summer film programs for myself. I graduated High School in Spring 2010 but I've been taking time off to figure things out since then, and I'm probably taking another year off. I've wanted to get into film making since I was little though, and I really want to find summer programs (like summer at USC) for someone in my situation. USC is too expensive for me and there's no financial aid or scholarships for their summer film program. Somewhere more affordable or places that offer scholarships and/or financial aid would be great!

Does anyone know of any summer film programs that accepts visiting students, anywhere in the US other than the Boston area? (I've been in the Boston area all my life and want to get out!) I'm trying to apply to as many as possible, and all I've found are Tisch at NYU and Columbia University in the city of New York’s Summer Arts program. My HS GPA was about 3.3, I never took the SAT's, and I haven't had any film making experience other than a year of film acting training, and I write screenplays as a hobby if that helps.

Thanks!

This sounds very cool. Columbia College Chicago might be a good fit, if you’re interested.
