<p>Hi, so I really want to get a job over the summer for some spending money. I would earn $2000-3000. I will be a freshmen at Cornell in fall. Will this job reduce my financial aid next year? Would it be advised that I spend what I earn so Cornell won't cut my grants because I have like $2500 in a bank account (liquid assets)?</p>
<p>Don’t go spending your money because ur concern that Cornell may reduce your financial aid. Cornell expects every student to make about 3000 during the summer. You can go ahead and get a summer job.</p>
