So I am a pre-med sophomore and this past summer I did clinical research and shadowing. However, this summer, especially in light of the economy I would like to do something where I can make some money. What is out there within biology/medicine that would be good for experience and to make some money so that I can pay for my undergraduate tuition (i.e., I don't wanna spend my summer waiting tables if I can help it). I am looking to stay at home around the Philadelphia area rather than spending summer at college, and I will also be studying to take the MCATs. I have also signed up on Cornell's careernet but I could still use a bit of guidance. Thank you!

Look for research that gives a stipend. Look into REU programs and the like. I imagine that there'll be at least some in the Philadelphia area.
