Assuming every other part of a students application falls comfortably within the mid to upper range of their target schools (GPA, SAT, essays, letters of recommendation etc all good), I’d be interested to hear people’s opinions, thoughts and experiences on/of kids who had regular - think summer camp, working in an ice cream store, waiting tables etc - jobs, rather than some of the fantastic summer internships and jobs we read about constantly on here, when applying to top Liberal Arts Colleges.
If you’re still with me after plowing through that clunky sentence, thank you.
