Summer labs for Chemical Engineering in Junior year

Does anyone know if the Presidential Scholarships cover the summer labs that Chemical Engineering students would take during the Junior year?

I believe the presidential scholarship only covers 8 semesters, so it would only be covered if you used one of your semesters, which would not be smart. My daughter is in Vienna now and it cost me approx 5K(ish) which is close to what it would have cost for her to take it in AL. Your student also now has the option of taking the summer lab over two semesters rather than as a summer course.

Yes, that option is now available to reduce costs for OOS students.

But, as @sniner mentions, a student can do the ChemE req’t at a qualified location abroad for about the same “summer cost” if taken in Tuscaloosa. Many take that option as well.

If a student is NMF, then he has 10 semesters, so he can easily use one for that or use the $2000 summer experience money for that as well.
