I'm a junior in high school and I want to get into a prestigious school/Ivy Leagues. However, my GPA is low for the school's expectations. I took Economics and Personal Finance the summer (this course was required for graduation, but I didn't want to waste a period on an easy course) before my sophomore year and got an A on that so it brought my GPA up by 1 point. If I take an extra class online this summer, such as an AP class to bring my GPA up, would colleges like that? I heard they didn't count the summer courses as part of your GPA.
