With the major plan that I have, it was recommended to me by a friend that I should possibly take a class or two at Ivy Tech over the summer. I was thinking of taking M118 (finite) and M211 or M119 in order to give myself a little bit of a headstart OR possibly taking Finite and maybe a Spanish Class. I was wondering how doable this is and how difficult a class at Ivy Tech is and what kind of requirements are expected out of someone taking these classes. Are they On demand or at a certain time? How much time do they require? Is this doable? Thanks
I don’t know specifics, but taking classes online through Ivy Tech is generally regarded as a joke and much easier than at IU. If you’re just taking M118 and M119, don’t worry about “not having a foundation” by taking easier versions of these classes because they are essentially useless. I got an A+ in M119 taking it through ACP and an A+ in finite at IU, and I cannot help people with most of M119 and some of the most advanced concepts of M118 even though it has only been 5 months since I finished finite.
@iubaccounting what is ACP?
It’s taking a college class in high school. It’s offered at some high schools in Indiana but it won’t be of any help to you if you are a senior now.
