Summer Opportunities in Graduate School

As stated in the title, I am looking for opportunities preferably paid, but will consider strong experience based programs. I am ideally looking for something akin to what I did last summer (McNair Research Internship).

Currently, I am enrolled in a Masters of Public Health- Administration program, but could easily switch back towards higher education, political science, or some other type of managerial field. I’d prefer an inclusive program as opposed to working for a private entity/company, but am open to any suggestions. Most of my previous job experience is in higher education, public/media relations, and politics.

I am also part Hispanic/Asian and also LGBT+ so if there are any minority based graduate opportunities, I’d love to hear those.

A little additional information- I am attending school in the Southeast and would prefer any program to be somewhat close. Also prefer smaller city/suburban area to D.C/NY/ATL.

I mean, there are a lot of these types of opportunities. You can do McNair again. You can also look up summer research opportunities for graduate students - do a search online and you’ll find some. Your office of career services should also have a list of summer internships and programs that students can do.

Can you do McNair a second time? I didn’t think you could? Obviously, I’ve already done some searching online but looking for specific opportunities that may be looked over. Especially as it applies to minority students.

I’ve talked to a few people at my school and I’ve applied to some local unpaid places which is fine, but I’d like to see some more.
