As an excited Terp who has been staying on top of everything I need to do in order to prepare for the Fall 2017 semester, I just wanted to let everyone know that Summer Orientation Dates are now available and if you have already confirmed your enrollment you can register now! Many people have stated it’s best to do an early orientation so you have options when scheduling your classes. Best of luck to all! :slight_smile: NOTE: YOU MUST CONFIRM ENROLLMENT TO REGISTER

As I recall, there is also a fee for orientation. As far as scheduling classes goes, UMD opens up new course sections as needed for later orientation dates.

Yes, if you’re doing the 2 day overnight one is $176.00 but the payment won’t be due until after orientation. On the website they encouraged people not to pay until the bill appears (which would be after orientation) as paying beforehand might complicate things. (The overnight orientation is just for fall freshman, transfer students get a 1 day orientation).
