I am a rising junior looking for a summer program and came across many internships (nih, garcia etc.) that accept rising juniors but say that you must be 16 by the start of the program. I will be 16 in August (after the program starts). Is it worthwhile to apply? Will my application even be considered??

just apply

sue them for discrimination

I imagine the requirement that you’re 16 by the start of the program is for liability reasons.

I think sort of discrimination against geniuses needs to be taken to the Supreme Court

it’s patently unfair and unjust

Ayn Rand would be outraged (and let’s just say I’m normally not a Randian)
