<p>i am looking for something to do this summer with kind of a global touch to it, whether it be languages or a precollege program, but i sort of have a budget, and some of these programs are insanely expensive. </p>
<p>Are there any good kind of global theme summer programs for like $1500?? </p>

the goethe institute in germany has a pretty good rep. (according to my history teacher who's lived in germany for like 30-40 years)</p>

<p>i actually study spanish...so im not sure how well i could learn german in a summer. yea, 2k is probably too much $. Any other suggestions??</p>
