summer quarter 2015

Hi! I am incoming freshment at UCR for this year. But I am confused about the enrollment appointment During summer quarter. And sorry for my long questions! I think I am very stupid to ask so much of these questions but please help me!
Here are my questions:

  1. Do I have to you the school for this appointment or is it all on online thing?
  2. My major is Undeclared CHASS (HSUN), but on the summer quarter thing on growl for enrollment appointment says that my major is unclassified (summer/pre-matriculant). why does it say it like this? and I thought pre-matriculant is pre-med?
  3. why does someone with undeclared major need to take summer quarter?
  4. Do I need to worry about this?

It would be great if you guys would answer me asap.

Matriculation is the formal process of entering a University. Pre-matriuclated means you are entering the university prior to the official Fall Quarter. Since you are undeclared in CHASS, it looks like you need to do an on-line pre-orientation program before your advising appointment. If you have any questions, you should contact admissions. Also there should be an email that explains the steps required as a Undeclared to proceed with your acceptance and orientation. You need to find out how to proceed since it may impact your chance to register for classes.
