Summer School and Admissions and Further Q's

Hello. There are many other threads like this one but I would like to exactly know about summer schools.

My friends tell me attenting to a summer school at a particular school doesnot "REALLY" show interest in school. Is it true?

Other friends told me that attending summer school raises your chances for acceptance. Others just tell me visiting is enough. Which one is better?

Also they told me that just visiting the college will do enough. They keep you in their records and when they receive applications they recognize you and that you have visited them before. Is it enough to just visitt and ask for a tour? Can you even ask for a tour? Or is this unavailable?

Responses will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. :):):):):):):):):):):):):)

I would think that it shows considerable interest but it does not by any means make you a "shoe-in"
