<p>I applied to HSHSP, Clark, SSP, Garcia, and a local program. I’m excited to be in at Garcia…but I have to respond to them by the 22nd. I really hope SSP decisions come out by the 22nd…</p>
<p>that’s what I saw on the site, but Garcia took 3 extra weeks…wasn’t sure if that was normal for these types of programs. congrats on your acceptances…where are you leaning towards now?</p>
<p>Yeah, I’d choose SSP over Garcia. I’m happy with that, though. Looks to be a good summer regardless.</p>
<p>Any guesses for the decision release date? It was a Monday two years ago and a Wednesday last year, far as I can tell from previous threads.</p>
<p>I’m not sure I can wait for a decision much longer… the suspense is killing</p>

<p>Every time I browse on CC, I feel nervous. People are just intense, particular the people who want to go to SSP.</p>
<p>I was listed as an alternate. Kinda bummed, but this wasn’t my first choice program anyway so I guess its not too big of a deal.</p>

<p>To those accepted: did you emphasize your love of physics/astronomy in essay #1?</p>
<p>I wrote about physics for #1 and how I plan to take additional courses at college. Still got rejected… Maybe I’m not fit enough for MIT’s qualities (SSP+ RSI)</p>
