Summer Travel

<p>What are the best programs to volunteer abroad (particularly in Africa) for a rising senior? It would be nice if it looked good for colleges, but not mandatory. I'm just looking for the ones that offer students the best experience and are safest (so my parents will agree to it).</p>

<p>I'm looking for ones lasting from 2-5 weeks, and currently am interested in GLA, Putney Student Travel, and Rustic Pathways, but I don't know too much about any of those.</p>
