summerplans, help

Today I was sort of organizing my summer plans (yes my paretns make me plan months ahead of time) and I came upon an issue. There are two things I could do, but I really don't know if one of them is really worth it. I could go to the presidential classroom thingy, and then stay a week or two in the US. But I was wondering whether it is even worth it? Will it be fun? Will it benefit me when application time comes? Do you really have to wear a suit and tie in midsummer?(this one really has me worried). My other option is a ski trip to argentina with my parents. Help me decide...I can't have both.

go to china.

not an option, although it would be awesome

i like argentina... skiing sounds nice.

I would go skiing....try to enjoy your summer, not fit it to someone else's plan of what it should be just to cater to colleges. If you really want to do something that happens to look great on college apps, then go right ahead. But I wouldn't enroll in that program because it really sounds like you wouldn't enjoy it much. Have fun in Argentina....that would make for a more interesting essay than would a program that you didn't enjoy.
