So I've got accepted into these schools and need help in choosing one of them. I've visited both of them and liked buffalo's campus and dorms alot better than albany's. In addition, buffalo is an excellent engineering school. Here's the deal tho, I am stuck in deciding whether to go for computer science or engineering. If i go for engineering, i would obviously choose buffalo. However, buffalo has its negatives also. The winters are very harsh i've heard. Also the distance, 8hrs vs 3hrs(albany) for me. I would like some help in choosing a career field also (computer science vs engineering). All suggestions appreciated, thanks!

Winters are much harsher in Buffalo than Albany. But you can get used to them. I went to Rochester NY from the southeast US when I was 17. It was a shocker at first, but you adjust.

If there is any chance you might choose engineering, then I believe Buffalo is hands down the best choice.

Yeah thats what i was thinking. I just cant decide whether to go for engineering or science. I am leaning towards computer science however i feel like engineering would be a safer choice in the future. How much harder is CE than CS?
