<p>Hello all,</p>

<p>I came here hoping somebody could help me out. I'm entering my senior year this coming fall and would like to know my chances for these three schools. My GPA isn't stellar at 88.6, but I've done well on all my regents and I'm anticipating an Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors in June. I recieved a 1130 on my SAT, but I plan on retaking it and hopefully increase my score to a 1150-1200. I also recieved a four on my AP US exam, and did very well in the class. I've swam all four years and I have a chance at making captain this year, I would also swim in college. I've written for the school paper a few times as well. Finally, I'm also a boy scout.</p>

<p>I'm planning on having very strong recs from assorted people. Now, my essays. I have no idea what to write about, any suggestions?</p>

<p>You could write about anything really awesome you did with boy scouts, or maybe you have a passion in writing, or maybe you could write about the swim team… my best advice would be to start writing now, even if you think it sounds awful. You can always get your english teacher to help on revisions, but the hardest part is starting. So write about something you’re passionate about that you think adcoms should know.</p>
