<p>I can tell you that some schools, like Syracuse and Ithaca, do offer substantial financial aid which considerably reduces the tuition cost. Don’t write these schools off your list, as they may be much less expensive than they appear. Unfortunately, you won’t really know what kind of financial aid you may get until after acceptance. So it is important to have a balanced list in many ways: affordability, academics, and audition competitiveness. Be sure that you have some safety schools in all of these areas – and that the safeties are schools your daughter would be happy to attend.</p>
