Hello –

I am a senior who got admitted to the college of engineering at SUNY Stony Brook with the area of interest of Information Systems. I have since decided to change my major to biomedical engineering.

How difficult is it to switch majors from information systems to biomedical engineering?

I was also admitted to Rutgers school of engineering for biomedical engineering. Do you know if that is a better school?

If someone could answer these two questions, that would be great!

Congrats.
Perhaps take a look at handbooks describing each and see what appeals to you, & inquire further.
