Superbad was amazing. It was also interesting to watch as someone who lives part-time in the area of Vancouver where the writers went to school. I've met several of the people mentioned, and my parents know several as well. All thought it was an unbelievably good movie.

Superbad may be one of the funniest movies I have ever seen.
Mostly because yes, it was so reminiscent of my freshmen year of highschool.

"Your ****-blockin' McLovin!"

"We should be guiding McLovin's ****, not blocking it."

I flipping loved that movie. It was exactly like school. Freaky...

Take that vest off, you look like Aladdin.

I'll give it a B+, but the girls in superbad are super hot! :D

I liked Superbad. It is a very accurate protrayal of high school life. It's all about alcohol, drugs, and sex.

QFT. It sounds like yet another lame teen movie that assumes that all guys only want sex and all women only want to give said sex. Feh, I expect that lots of middle schoolers will be sneaking in and enjoying this one.

Except that it's legitimately funny and does capture the awkwardness and mentality of high schoolers.

Yeah. It's actually extremely accurate. It's just that for the community of students here on CC, most of whom are significantly harder-working and less social (in the party scene sense) than the average high-schooler, the movie looks totally foreign.

The only thing that I think was overdone in the movie was the awkwardness around girls - but hey, it was written by 13 year olds, what do you expect?
